Photo class / Photography coaching in Florida
While vacationing in beautiful Central Florida, use this so rare extra free time to learn and improve your favorite hobby--photography, of course! I offer special one on one classes or excursions that are completely customized to your level and interest. Couples welcome too! You'll need to have a DSLR and a sense of adventure, willingness to learn and improve, and bug spray and sunscreen.
As a professional photographer of over 15 years, I will teach you at whatever level you are currently. Need to know the basics--aperture, shutter speed, how to take that camera out of the automatic mode and have control over different lighting conditions? You got it, no problem. Need to know the basics of how to compose a photograph that will amaze your family and friends, taking your skill level beyond "I have a great camera but still produce snapshots" to "Wow! What an amazing photograph! What kind of camera do you use?" (and you'll quickly learn why that question is so offensive when you understand how much knowledge and skill is involved).
Are you comfortable with your camera out of automatic mode, but need some coaching on metering for specific lighting conditions, using your flash (especially off-camera!), or some other skill set that will take your photography to the next level? This is the class for you.
If post processing and photoshop are where your needs to improve lay, then we'll do a short outing to some great nearby locations, and then spend time at the computer perfecting your shots in post processing. You'll be amazed what you walk away with!
My students are anyone from vacationing couples from around the world who share an interest in photography and our beautiful Florida scenery, to local moms and dads who just want to take better photographs of their families--taking their photos well above that 'snapshot' level.
These classes are limited to either a single one on one lesson or I will also accommodate small (up to 4) groups of related students who share the same skill level and goals. This is specifically so I can address my students individually at whatever level they arrive with--my classes are all about you: your interest, your skills, your equipment, your desire to learn.

My German and French are passable and improving daily, so European vacationers are gladly encouraged to be in touch! I have over 15 years experience in professional photography, degrees in both Fine Art (BA) and teaching (Masters), so I have the perfect background to teach the skills you need.
